BRBCL invites applications from eligible candidates for the post of General Duty Medical Officer on adhoc basis for one year.

6. Essential Qualifications: MBBS qualified and registered with Medical Council of India.
7. Desirable Qualifications: Candidates having certificate of "Training in Industrial Health" of minimum three months duration duly approved by DG-FASLI and experienced candidates will be given preference.
8. Duration: One year with a clause of extension for further one year based on satisfactory performance.

BRBCL Recruitment: Post of General Duty Medical Officer
A subsidiary of NTPC under the name of ‘Bharatiya Rail Bijlee Company Limited’ was incorporated on November 22, 2007 with 74:26 equity contribution from NTPC and Ministry of Railways, Govt. of India respectively for setting up of four units of 250 MW each of coal based power plant at Nabinagar, Bihar. Investment approval of the project was accorded in January, 2008. 90% power from this project is to be supplied to Railways to meet the traction and non-traction power requirements.
Bihar State Power Generation Company Limited (BSPGCL) is a state owned power generating utility incorporated in November 2012 after the unbundling of the erstwhile BSEB.
BSPGCL is implementing three thermal power projects at Chausa in Buxar, Kajra in lakhisarai and pirpainti in Bhagalpur eachof 1320 MW capacity summing up to 3960 MW. BSPGCL has applied for the Coal block in order to meet coal requirements for its upcoming Thermal Power Projects at Kajra, Lakhisarai and Pirpainti, Bhagalpur. These units are expected to be commissioned by 2021-22.
BSPGCL is also taking strong and steady steps for “Green Energy” development and efforts are on to establish solar PV grid projects in PPP mode. Apart from developing conventional sources of power, BSPGCL is also focusing on development of renewable energy. Presently it is taking up development of 250 MW solar projects in PPP mode.
BSPGCL is developing a 3 MW solar-biomass hybrid power plant at Barun Aurangabad. To realize the vision of “Power For All” Bihar State Power Generation Company Limited is targeting a threefold increase in generating capacity in the coming year.
