Do you know about convalescent plasma, which is taken from a person who has been cured of corona infection. In short, it may be a promising alternative in the treatment of plasma COVID-19 disease.

If you have ever been infected with corona and have become corona negative after infection, you have been treated for 14 days and you are feeling healthy then only you are eligible to donate Convalescent Plasma.

3. Location of Post : New Delhi

4. Pay Scale :  Rs.31,000/- p.m. + 24% HRA As per Guidelines of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India (Office memorandum SR/S9/Z-08/2019; dated 30th January 2019).

5. Project Title : Development of Nano-engineered Liver Scaffold: A Novel Device for Ex-vivo Drug Screening Applications

6. Project Duration : 2 Years

7. Essential Qualifications :  MSc/MTech in Biomedical/Life sciences with NET/GATE

8. Project Description : Mammalian cell culture, Animal handling and experiments, Molecular Biology techniques.

9. Laboratory : Molecular and Cellular Medicine, ILBS, New Delhi

10. Project Investigator : Dr. Savneet Kaur, Assistant Professor

Mission

The mission of the Institute is:

To develop a facility with international standards, which could provide a comprehensive and most modern set up for the diagnosis and treatment, an advanced centre for dedicated research and resource for advanced training in the field of liver diseases, including liver transplantation, gall bladder and biliary diseases and allied specialties.

To serve as a torch-bearer model of health care in the country by amalgamating the skills and structure of academic Universities, clinical  and research acumen of the super-specialists and the managerial skills of the corporate world.

LBS Phase II

This is an extension of ILBS which shall have the following activities and functional areas:

  • Academic Block having provisions of faculty, Academic offices, Seminar, Library & state of the art Auditorium.
  • Clinical Block having provisions of Oncology, In patient block, Clinical Trial Centre, Animal House, Experimental surgery, Surgical complex & ICU beds and common support facility & Research Lab.
  • Residential Block having provisions of Residents Hostel, Nurses Hostel & Relatives Hostel.
  • Support Services in Basement & Service floor having provisions of Hospital support services, Bridge/ tunnel, Parking and Engineering services.

The above mentioned blocks of ILBS Phase-II have been proposed to be centrally air-conditioned with required quantity of fresh air as per international norms.
